RK JOINERY AND CONSTRUCTION IN THE PRESS

RK Joinery and Building contractors were previously featured in two national building magazines - "Readers Homes" and "Build It".

 

The first magazine discussed a project for Lorna Gray who RK Joinery and construction built a large new home for from initial plans right through to completion. The magazine states "Lorna always had a neutral palette in mind for the finishes, but with the help of builder Robert MacQueen was able to go the extra mile on the details. “The oak window sills and kitchen worktop joinery really set off the look and help to soften the decor,” she says. “The bespoke TV surround shelving unit and deep storage spaces in the kitchen, which house my pottery and gin collections, are great space saving solutions.”

In the second article RK Joinery and Construction were commissioned to create a new build for Maggie Williams on Skye. Speaking of the project Maggie said "When the house was being valued we were told that house prices in the area had dropped between 10 and 20 per cent,” she said. “fortunately, because of the high standard of workmanship, and in particular the joinery work, the house was still valued at £225,000, which was the

same as had been predicted before.”
